It's cold. I don't think you understand. The GODDAMN SUN went down AT FUCKING 5 in the afternoon. 5PM. The whole day was overcast and then the sun went home early. I'm wearing three layers of clothing including socks and a hood INDOORS. My brain just wants to go to sleep all the damn time. Against all reason, the more I use my hands, the colder and more rickety they get. They hurt when I wake up. This must be what arthritis feels like.
And it's dry. My throat feels like...there is honestly no way of describing it. It's like I want to drink but my body is saying you don't need water. It's so cold, you're just going to pee it all out. PEE OUT everything you just DRANK.
Unholy gods...I'm thirsty but I'm freezing. This is why people turn into alcoholics, the fucking weather. Fuck you weather.
I will not open that 40 in the ref. I will not drink alone at home for no reason.

1. My dad is back home. Shitload of meds for life though, and a ton of things to remember not to do and eat. *sigh* I'm glad the doc gave him a peptalk before they left the hospital. If he cheats and eats something he shouldn't, he won't last five years. Also, if he goes back to smoking, my dad would have to find a different doctor next time. So right now the house has instantly become a no smoking zone. (Yes, even my mom quit smoking.) Only my younger sibling and his wife still smoke, but even they would have to go out of the house to smoke now.
2. I created an AIM account to keep in touch with a friend. I have to say I still like YM! better. Also, they have this thing where you can keep in touch with other friends who are users of other networking sites. I just clicked on the option to see what it says and I got this: Sorry, there are no Facebook updates in your Lifestream, but here's a baby bunny. :)

So after the chaos of the past week, this is where things stand at the moment:
1. I'm on LOA from work. Paid time off. I will be back in January.
2. My dad is out of the ICU and they moved him to a private room. He is on his way to recovery. There will be a lot of adjustments but we'll manage.
3. In relation to #2, I've decided that I will stay with my current job and start my masters this coming June. I can't afford to leave work for the moment while studying. I'll stay only as long as I have to. I'll make it work.
4. My room is almost done. Time to buy stuff.
To all those who sent messages, replied to my post, prayed and stuff, I thank you all. :)
